20世紀前半にアントワープにて英国人ジョン・マーティン氏により醸造開始。英国伝統のドライホッピングを駆使して風味付けられる香りと、瓶内二次発酵による複雑な製法により、個性の異なるビール王国である英国とベルギーの特徴を併せ持ったIPAに仕上がっている。

In the first half of the 20th century, John Martin, who is English, started to brew the beer in Antwerp. Dry hopping and secondary fermentation makes it unique and floral.
