ナポレオンの時代、「パウエル・クワック」という男が宿屋を経営していたが、毎日立ち寄る郵便を運ぶ馬車から御者が降りずに飲めるようなビールグラスを考え出し、一躍有名となった。麦芽からのカラメルやチョコレートのような甘い香りがある。甘味が強いタイプで、あとに強いアルコール感を感じさせるビール。
