2003年オープン／50席
店名はベルギーでも昔に使用していたビール樽　Barrel に由来します。
大阪のビジネスの中枢でクラシック建築も多い淀屋橋にBBC1号店としてオープン。
テラス席もありベルギーさながらの雰囲気が味わえる。

Our first Belgian Brasserie Court Restaurant is opened in 2003 in Yodoyabashi, the business district in Osaka which also has many classical architecures.
We named it “Barrel” as in beer barrels which were used to make beer in Belgium long time ago.
Enjoy your stay in the terrace seats where you would just feel like you are in Belgium.

大阪府出身。府内のイタリアンやフレンチ レストランで経験を重ね、
レストラン“BURDIGARA”で 6年間腕を磨いたのち、単身渡仏。
南フランスの自然豊かなアヴィニョンの1つ星レストラン “Entre Vigne garrigue”にて修業を積み、
フランス料理とワインのマリアージュを肌で感じる。
帰国後、2014年4月よりBBC BARRELの料理長に就任。
ベルギービールをこよなく愛し、ビールと料理の マリアージュを常に考える探求者。
ヨーロッパの家庭料理や郷土料理を得意とし、
日本の四季折々の食材をふんだんに使ったテロワー ルを
感じさせることができるセンスの光る料理人である。

He trained at Italian and French restaurants in Osaka, spent 6 years at Restaurant BURDIGARA, then moved to south of France, worked at a Michelin starred restaurant “Entre Vigne garrigue”, learned about the marriage of French cuisine and wine.
He moved back to Japan and became Head chef at BBC Barrel in April 2014.
His love for beer always makes him pursue great paring of “Belgian beer and food” and “European traditional cuisine and Japanese seasonal ingredients”
