「世界一魔性を秘めたビール」と称される、ゴールデンエールの逸品。終結した第一次世界大戦を記念して作った「ヴィクトリー・エール」を試飲した靴屋の店主が「このビールはまさに悪魔だ」と表現したことが「デュベル（悪魔）」の命名に繋がりました。香りは華やかで、 グレープフルーツを思い起こさせる柑橘類の香しさが鼻をくすぐります。 スパイシーさを兼ね備えた絶妙なバランスの味わいがまろやかに広がります。

“Duvel” is one of the masterpieces of Golden ale. Once, at the end of the First World War, it was initially called “Victory Ale”. During a tasting session for local notables, the shoemaker, Mr. Van De Wouwer was so amazed by the beer’s potent aromas that he exclaimed: “This is a real Duvel (Devil)”. From 1923 onwards, the beer was marketed under this name.
