ノートルダム・ド・サン・レミ修道院で醸造されるトラピストビール。1794年ナポレオンにより破壊されたが、1899年には醸造を再開した。プラム、いちじくのようなフルーティーで甘い香り、麦芽からのコーヒーのような香ばしい香りがある。旨味がたっぷりで、後味にアルコールの辛味を長く感じる。

“Rochefort 8” is the Trappist beer brewed in Abbey Notre-Dame Saint-Remy-Rochefort. It has the fruity aromas like a plum and a fig and also the one like roasted beans. You can feel dried taste because of its rich alcohol volume.
